I was first licensed as a Novice in 1964 as WN2NRJ in Westbury, New York.   I let my license expire and didn't return to Amateur Radio for 25 years.  I qualified for my Advanced Class license in 1989 and upgraded to Extra Class in 1990.  I have held the following callsigns:  
                     WN2NRJ    N9IGN    KE9QM     WT9W 
My interests include HF, VHF, UHF and satellites.  My latest interest is QRP and I homebrew most of my QRP equipment.    Refer to the Equipment page for a listing of projects that I have worked on.

I am a Volunteer Examiner and am certified by the ARRL and W5YI VEC's.  I am also a Commercial License Examiner certified by W5YI.  I hold the following licenses:

       Amateur  - Extra Class

Commercial  - General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL)
                          - Second Class Radiotelegraph Operators Certificate
                          - Ship Radar Endorsement
