Worked as a consultant to LTV Steel’s Y2k team which included singlehandidly scanning & remediating 5 million lines of Fortran source code, and upgrading Personal Computer Hardware and software to achieve Y2k compliance. Involved in all levels of development and implementation of automation systems for batch annealing process systems. Major responsibilities included systems analysis, project coordination, customer liaison,  resource evaluations, customer training and systems programming. Major accomplishments include entire level-2 system overhaul for customer required modifications, interface communications between Alpha system to Allen Bradley PLC, creation of statistical analysis programs for customer requested enhancements, development of customer training programs with related documentation and upgrading software from VAX/VMS to run on Alpha AXP operating system. Developed a system that used an Oracle Database on a VMS Alpha Server and a client machine running Visual Basic communicating via an OBDC Driver. Provide customer support from office and home PC.
