 CAMP RULES

1. Campers with cars must turn in the car keys. Cars will not be used during the camp.
2. Be in your room at 10.00 p.m. and lights out at 10:30 p.m.
3. Do not leave campus. Be present at all meetings, meals and practices.
4. Campers will not be permitted to leave early unless parental permission has been cleared with Coach Copeland.
5. Those not abiding by these rules will be sent home.
6. Possession of any tobacco product is contrary to Eureka College, ISHAA & IHSA polices.
7. By completing the registration form, I acknowledge and understand the rules of the camp.
I understand that Indiana Option Camps stress football and is not a "BABYSITTING" Camp. I have read the rules and regulations listed above and will abide by them.

Check In and Check Out

You are to report to the Eureka College campus between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 29th. Arrive early so that you can tour the campus. Check out will be 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 2nd.

Location

Eureka College is located in Eureka, Illinois, about 20 minutes east of Peoria, ILinois, on Illinois Route 24.

Costs

The camp cost is $225.00.A $10.00 Key deposit will be refunded when the key is turned in at the end of camp. The cost includes instructional costs, housing, meals, camp T-shirt and Jersey.

Housing and Food

You will stay on the Eureka College Campus, in one of the Air Conditioned Dorms. Linens will be provided. You will eat at the College Dining Hall. Unlimited seconds are permited. The First camp meal will be dinner on Wednesday the 24th and the last camp meal will be breakfast on Saturday the 27th.

Who Can Attend

Boys entering grades 9-12. Grouping for skill work by ability. Grouping for team work by age and maturity.
 
 
 
 

GENERAL INFORMATION

REFUND POLICY:

1. Cancellations prior to June 1, 2000 will result in a $15.00 charge.

2. No refunds after June 1, 2000.

CONTROLLED CONTACT CAMP

All phases of Option Football offense will be taught. This will include Mid-Line, Veer, Double and Triple option with emphasis on quarterack fullback mesh. Play action passes will be included as well as complimentary plays. Pass playes will be run from Tight end and Split end formations.

PRACTICE

Practice is conducted in shoulder pads and helmets. We teach Option Football and Lineman techniques and the complimentary plays that go along with it. This is not a conditioning Camp. This is an instructional camp to perfect your option skills. Each player will get many repetitions for technique improvement, plus the fun, competition and realism of game-like action. If you want to learn about Option Football join us for a great learning experience. If you want to develop your lineman skills, come work with some of the best option line coaches you can find.

ACTIVITIES

Any free time beyond practice can be used in the Weight Room, swimming (You must pass the University swimming instruction first) in the lake or relaxing in the dorm. Evening films and activities may be provided. Pizzas can be ordered for evening snacks. College and High School coaches may have periodic presentations for the athletes.
