     The HIGH STAKES BAND was founded in May 1999 by drummer Bill Catlin.  The band kicks into high gear performing at clubs, festivals, and fairs throughout Indiana and the Chicago land area.  What really makes this band special is the chemistry the members share and their musical influences.
     After years of perfecting their individual skills the band has been playing to packed houses with a variety of music that ranges from today's country to yesterday's greatest hits.  Throw in a splash of rock with a little blues and sprinkle a few original tunes into the mix and the HIGH STAKES BAND runs the audience through some "get down, raise the roof, toe thumpin' music".
     Possum Records has begun working with the band, and plans are underway to record their third CD in the summer of 2000.
     With great guitar playing, vocals, and a rhythm section that moves like a freight train, we think this band will excite you!

I just wanted to put in a small apology here for not having the page updated as often as I should.  I have been very busy with a lot of things and haven't had much time to do anything.  There will be some new pictures going up also as soon as I figure out what's wrong with my other computer(that's where my scanner is) and the samples should be fixed and up and running by the end of next week.  Sorry for any inconvenience I will do my best to keep the site properly updated from now on.

Meet the Band
Bill Catlin: Percussion/Vocals, Bill reinvented himself and surrounded himself with players that would make this group something special.  Born in Gary, IN which produced the Spaniels, Michael Jackson, and others, Catlin was inspired by greats like John Bohnam, Alex VanHalen, and Neil Pert.  After 20 years of performing Catlin's vision came together.  Working with Frenchy, these guys lay down a bottom end that bands would die for.
Corey Lee Clendaniel: Vocalist/Guitar Player, Corey began his career in Lake Station, Indiana.  Learning from watching greats like Travis Tritt, Brookes and Dunn, and Lynard Skynard.  His accomplishments range from playing guitar, bass, and Drums to kicking it up a notch at shows.  At age 23, Corey is a seasoned performer who has his eyes set on the brass ring.
Damian "Frenchy" Franchville: With a name like "Damian" this guy bass playin' borders on evil, and sounds like heaven.  His finger~lickin', toe~tappin', chest~thumpin' scales take the band's music to another level every night.  Being the newest member of the group, Frenchy brings over 30 years experience to the band.
Dave Clendaniel: Guitar Player/ Vocalist, After years of playing the local scene, Dave's vocals and spicy style of guitar playin' has been admired in the area for a long time.  He has many ranges that are from ballads to uptempo hits.  With his style Dave is definitely an asset to the band.
Larry Gore: Lead guitar player, Being one of the hottest lead players in the area Larry adds a special twist to the band.  This special guitar playing has earned him the pleasure of playing with Lee Greenwood's Band.  Some of Larry's inspirations are Marshall Tucker, Allman Brothers, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, and many others.
